A Hercules C30 military plane ferrying 101 passengers and 12 crew members crashed in the major city of Medan (Indonesia), killing additional three persons on ground on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The plane reportedly blew to pieces shortly after take-off, but speculations are rife as to the cause of the explosion.
Medan, with a population of 2 million, suffered damages as cars and buildings were left in ruins. The plane hit a massage parlour and a hotel as it crashed.
