20 finalists would be selected to compete in the finals of the maiden edition of Miss Kanekalon which will be held on November 14, 2015 in Lagos.
The 20 finalists together with their team of hairstylists will take the stage that Saturday evening. According to the organizers of the pageant, the stylists would introduce themselves, answer questions and talk about their dreams, while their stylist will share the highlights of the hairstyles they have designed and styled for their partnering finalists, especially for this event.
The finalist’s hair style, we further gathered, will use Kanekalon’s long braids, styled with the creativity of the stylists aimed at “Bringing out the Natural beauty and elegance of African women”.
During the much- talked about selection of the very first Miss Kanekalon, there would be entertainment by popular artists,gift presentation as well as exclusive Hair Show of brand-new weave on styles and lots more.
It would be recalled that Kaneka Corporation of Japan, makers of the renowned hair fiber, Kanekalon,announced this summer, the much- awaited opening of Miss Kanekalon, a platform to appreciate true African beauty.
