Mohammed, Rahama Babangida’s marriage breakup

-Wife confirms divorce, denies leaking controversial audio of hubby with new wife, Umuani

It’s no longer news that the long time marriage of Mohammed Babangida, son of Nigeria’s former military President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida to Rahama Ndimi, daughter of Borno born billionaire mogul, Muhammed Ndimi, has crashed irreconcilably.

However, what makes an item on the lips of many at the moment is how the latter finally hit the nail on the head by addressing her estranged hubby, Mohammed as former husband in her Instagram post, a couple of days back, despite the fact that the former has maintained sealed lips on the alleged breakup since the news broke a couple of years back.

The controversial post reads, “Woke up to this, a recording of Mr. Mo saying some nasty things about his current wife. I wonder what he has been saying about me when we were married (not cool Muha, not cool). May Allah protect us all from people like this. Amen #JustSaying.”

However, an impeccable source revealed to ENCOMIUM Weekly that Mohammed though felt bad about how the issue went viral, he has only decided to ignore the action of Rahama who they both have four children before their 12 year union packed up.

Mohammed has decided not talk about Rahama’s action. But that doesn’t mean he’s happy about it. “I learnt the woman has been having ripples with him ever since he married second wife, Umuani about eight years ago but he has been keeping the whole thing close to his chest alone, in order not to destabilize his home. Now, he has nothing to hide anymore as his wife has finally opened up that they have parted ways.”

However, in her effort to dissociate herself from the controversial post, Rahama, has reacted via her Instagram account again, denying knowing anything about the leaked audio. She also claimed not to be in support of it.

“It’s rather unfortunate that people you confide in can just go through your phone and post such an embarrassing audio of you know who. It’s no secret that we have been divorced and I didn’t hide it. He is the father of my children and I do respect him. The leakage of the audio was done in poor taste. So, people should stop tagging me. I had nothing to do with it. Someone thought I should be out there and I disagreed. What goes on in his house is his business and not mine. My advice is just watch what you say and to whom you may say it. I wish them nothing but happiness. I have done so in the past and I will continue to do so. May Allah help and guide us. Amen.”

The denial of the billionaire’s daughter, notwithstanding, her conduct on social media concerning the issue has attracted a lot of reactions from different corners.

However, ENCOMIUM Weekly’s efforts to get Babangida’s reaction on the issue proved abortive as his mobile line wasn’t available till we went to press.
