Moji Olaiya’s body will arrive Nigeria next week – Foluke Daramola

Foluke Daramola-Salako, colleague and bosom friend of late star actress, Moji Olaiya has also confirmed to encomium.ng that national leader of All Progressives  congress (APC) and former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has footed the bill to bring back home the body of the beautiful actress who passed on in Canada on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 42. She also added that the body is very most likely to arrive Nigeria early next week as the process towards that is ongoing.
Speaking with encomium.ng on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, the brilliant role interpreter expressed optimism that everything will work out according to plan while she also thanked Tinubu for his philanthropic and kind gesture towards ensuring that Olaiya’s remains are not buried in Canada.
“It’s true that our father, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stepped in the big way to ensure that Moji’s body and her daughter are flown back to Nigeria soon. The process of achieving that has started already. By the special grace of God my friend wont be buried in Canada any more, and by next Monday or Tuesday latest, the body should arrive Nigeria. We’re told it’s being  processed already. And it will take a week to complete the procedure. So, we will get the body back to Nigeria, latest Tuesday, May 30, 2017.”
On the actual amount donated by Tinubu, the star actress declined comment.
“I can’t disclose that. All I know is that he has footed the bill and we’re very grateful to him.”
Probed further on the exact amount raised from other individuals towards the burial of  the pretty mother of two children, Salako said, “I cant also say this is the exact amount we have raised so far. Everything was paid into the bank account of Moji’s close friend, Shade Oluwo, who is also a member of the burial committee. Apart from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, some other individuals also contributed their quotas. We’re grateful to them as well. Our aim is to bring Moji’s body to Nigeria and give her a befitting burial. And that’s what i personally stand for.”
On the rumour that the late actress may not be buried according to islamic injunctions as earlier planned, Salako stated, “I don’t know anything about that. Moji has family, and whatever the family decides to do on that is what we abide by as colleagues. What we’re after is that she shouldn’t be buried outside the country, and that has been sorted out.”
