Moji Olaiya’s burial holds at 4 pm today in Canada

Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya, who died of cardiac arrest following childbirth complications on Thursday, May 18, 2017, in Canada, will be buried today (Friday, May 19) at 4 pm, was authoritatively informed.

The family of the 42 year old mother of two daughters met in her Magodo (Kosofe local council area of Lagos) home earlier today…and agreed to bury her in Canada.
Her 18 year old daughter, Adunola, was persuaded to allow her mother be buried in Canada as Islam enjoins (it recommends quick burial not later than the second day after death). They also considered the cost of ferrying her corpse to Nigeria in good time.
The Abuja based Alhaji husband of the actress, father of her two months old daughter, arrived the Magodo house yesterday (Wednesday, May 18).
The meeting in Magodo also had Nollywood presence. Toyosi Adesanya (also known as Sisi Alagbo, described as one of her closest friends) led the delegation.
Colleagues gave Adunola some money today for her upkeep pending the time more elaborate plans are afoot.
News of Moji Olaiya’s death spread afield earlier yesterday morning as reports claimed she died at 3 am (10 pm Canadian time) at a hospital.
She was already making plans to return to Nigeria on June 20, 2017. She had her daughter in March prematurely.
Insiders claimed her health deteriorated only three days before she passed on.
