More girls play video games than boys – study

A new study has made a rather eye-popping discovery as it revealed that 52 percent of people who had played some form of video game in the last six months were female.

The study found that the United Kingdom (UK) game audience now stands at 33.5 million, with the increase in female gamers driven by women aged 25-44 downloading free puzzle and trivia apps.
