From Darey Art Alade to  Femi Branch, Daniel K. Daniel, Chidi Mokeme, Ashionye Racah, Toyin Aimakhu, Richard Mofe Damijo and  Mofe Duncan, more tributes are being penned in the memory of the Nollywood legend.

Here are some more…

femibranch: Aunty Bukky, ur passing is both painful and glorious. Painful cos u were such a lovely soul and glorious cos we got a chance to celebrate u for one last time thanks to the AMVCAs. Do you remember how great u were wen u played my mother and all the other times we acted together? Cos I do. And I will never forget. Rest on Mama. #ripbukkyajayi

dareydarey: Death is not the end…for love goes on! Farewell Bukky Ajayi. A thespian great goes home… #CelebratingHerLegacy #PassionForTheArts #RIPBukkyAjayi #Nigeria #Film #Obsequies #Nollywood

adenikeoadebayo: What a loss but even greater is a life well spent, and marks made in the Sands of time…. Every time I see her I remember her in 2 movies – Iya Oko Bornvita and Diamond Ring with @mofedamijo @tejubabyfacetv Rest in peace Mama Bukky Ajayi… And thanks to the #AMVCA for having the foresight to celebrate her…. #bukkyajayi

okeybakassi: We mourn the exit of a tv/stage #goddess
Mama #bukkyajayi you carried every #role with #class #professionalism …..you’ve taken your final bow with respect…. You’ll never be forgotten. R.I.P

mofeduncan: One of the greatest achievements of my career is meeting you Mama, and even greater than that is trading lines with you scene after scene. My heart bleeds, I didnt put you up yesterday because I didnt want to believe it, but… it’s my duty to celebrate you. Thank you for all you taught us and thank you for your contribution to our industry, your hard work and persistence is one to emulate. Sleep well mama… such an angel you are #BukkyAjayi , such an angel. Good night

chidimokeme: It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things…. #RIP #Great #BukkyAjayi #Actor #Thespian #Legend #Queen #Performer #Talent #Inspiration #Dedication #Belief #Passion #Purpose #Focus Hey YOU. Yes YOU. Who are YOU? Who do YOU say YOU are? Go Get Ur Crown ????

danielkdaniel: #RIP Mama #BukkyAjayi.
After working with you on the AMBO4 Project – THE CHILD, I grew to love you even more.
You were a blessing to all who knew you.
#Legend #Mother #ActorExtraordinaire

ashionye: Rest in the Lord #BeautifulOne #BukkyAjayi

mofedamijo: Aunty Bukks, I am sorry. Sorry I did NOT visit you in your last days, not because I didn’t want to but because I took for granted the gift of life and procrastinated. To think that I spoke to Abounce kunle your son (whom I share the TV series Hush with where he is such a star now as Ruffy Jackson. Taking after you) several days ago to ask for the best time to come see you…if I knew it was time I would have come that very day to see you but who would have thought that the bold, strong Aunty Bukks who has consistently defied every circumstance and risen above every situation will go to sleep so soon.
It is my birthday today and as I sit here writing you, I can only think how ironic it is that you have completed the circle of life.
I am deeply pained by your passing but I am extremely proud that you are a part of my life and I yours.
I love you very much Aunty Bukks and will NEVER trade the memories of you for anything.
Sleep well in Gods bosom.
