Movie stars storm christening of Yinka Quadri’s grandson, ‘I’m humbled’

Sunday, June 25, 2017, will remain memorable in the life of veteran actor cum film maker, Alhaji Olayinka Quadri Akanni, simply addressed as Yinka Quadri, as his grandson’s naming held in his Ikorodu, Lagos home was well attended.
The naming which commenced around 2 o’ clock paraded dignitaries from far and near, most especially the talented role interpreter’s colleagues, including Oga Bello, Jide Kosoko, Taiwo Hassan, Abbey Lanre, Kaka, Muka Ray, Iya Awero, Nike Peller, Yetunde Wunmi, Madam Saje, Fali Werepe, Sola Kosoko, Rammy Shitta Bay, Olaiya Igwe, Kenny Adeyemi, Sunny Ali and others.
The new baby was christened Sultan Asiwaju Akanni in absentia as he’s still in the United Kingdom with his parents, Sherifdeen Ololade and Abimbola who ecomium.ng was told also celebrated the christening in the Queen’s land being their first child.
Speaking with encomium.ng, the elated grandfather, Agba Akin of Oro land, Quadri expressed gratitude to God for the success of the occasion. He added that everything was beyond him.
“I am very joyous today pulling this kind of crowd. Everything is beyond me. I feel humbled and excited.”
