MTV Base VJ Search auditions hit Abuja

...Auditions to hold at NAF Conference Centre & Suites, Abuja on Tuesday 9 August.

Abuja| Nigeria: 4 August 2016: Become an MTV VJ and change your life forever by taking part in the MTV Base VJ Search auditions in Abuja on 9 August.

You too could follow in the footsteps of MTV Base superstar VJ Ehiz who won MTV Base’s last VJ Search in 2013, and who’ll be on-site in Abuja to capture all the action for the TV channel. Helping him will be a host of celebrity judges who’ll join MTV Base in weighing up all the VJ wannabes with their eyes on the prize – a contract with MTV Base worth a cool 20 million Naira!

Make sure you bring your ‘A Game’ as you’ll need to impress the following: Eddie Madaki, publicist & media consultant; Wazobia FM 99.5 OAP and comedian Moses “Big Mo” Nwokedi; Gospel Obi Founder/The Flux Factory and award-winning music producer, Vidi Inyang; event promoter, YBNL Abuja representative, and artist manager, Chinedu Oji: Convener of the Abuja Entertainment Seminar, and Hot FM 93.8, Head of Programs and presentation Amaka Onyeagoro.

To participate in the auditions, head along to NAF Conference Centre & Suites, Abuja on Tuesday 9 August.  Get there early to avoid the crowds (doors open from 9 am).  Pre-register at www.mtvbasease.com, or simply show up on the day to get your chance to audition. Don’t forget to bring valid photo ID with you.  All entries are free of charge.

The top 10 finalists and the winner of the MTV Base VJ Search will be revealed in September.

The MTV Base VJ Search is open to Nigerian citizens aged between 18-25, with fluent spoken English and a valid Nigerian passport.  Applicants already associated with another major TV or radio station are not eligible to participate.

For full terms and conditions, or to download the registration form, please go to www.mtvbase.com and follow the links to the MTV Base VJ Search page.  Alternatively, download the MTV Base VJ Search App from the Google Android app store at http://bit.ly/29TXtjU.
