In this chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly, AY disclosed that the much-talked about Easter show has sold out again.  He also shared his expectations and challenges so far.

How are you preparing for AY Live?

God is good.  We are doing our best.  All is now set for the biggest show in the land.

So, how has the response been as regards the sale of tickets and branded tables?

We are highly excited and elated by the support and encouragement from individuals and corporate Nigeria.  Our tickets have sold out.  So far, we only have nine branded tables remaining.

How many tables are you offering?

We had 65 tables for sale and only nine have not been sold.  This is incredible.  And we thank God for it.

But this does not necessarily mean that AY has hit it big?

That’s another side of the coin.  There is so much to do with money.  It’s a big show.  That means we have to pay attention to a lot of logistics.

What are your expectations?

All our acts (I Go Dye, Gordons, Okey Bakassi, Jedi, Elenu, Emeka Smith, MC Shakara…Wizkid, Kcee, Samklef, Ice Prince, Davido, Brymo, W4, Chuddy K and loads of acts have confirmed they are performing  We’ve got a lot of surprises.  There would be comedy skits, live drama.  I will be doing a skit with Ali Baba.  Funke Akindele, Helen Paul, Denrele would be doing comedy skits too.  In fact, we are giving a double portion of AY Live 2011.  And you can’t afford to miss our grade A entertainment package this Easter Sunday.

Other than the tables, how else can one attend AY Live?

We still have N5,000 and N20,000 regular and VIP gate fees.  Of course, you know that the branded table are tagged VVIPs.  It seats eight guests.

Are there any more details you would want to tell us about AY Live?

As you already know, AY Live is on Easter Sunday.  The red carpet starts 5 p.m while the show kicks off at 6 p.m prompt.
