First celebrity wedded couple of 2014, Emmanuel Bezhiwa Idakula, popularly known as Bez, and Bolatito Ladoja are currently on honeymoon in Turkey. The couple who are savouring the bliss of married life jetted out for their honeymoon after they were joined as husband and wife on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Guiding Light Assembly Church, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos. They are expected back to Nigeria by January ending.
When ENCOMIUM Weekly put a call to Bez on Thursday, January 9, 2014, we couldn’t reach him. But we were able to speak with his manager, who corroborated our findings. “Yes, Bez is out of the country for now. He will be back by the end of month.”
Crème de la crème turned out in beautiful attires when the musician and politician’s daughter were declared husband and wife a couple of days back.
Former governor of Oyo state, Alao Akala, Richard Mofe Damijo and wife, Jumobi, Cobhams Asuquo, Waje, Omawumi, Olisa Adibua and a host of others were in attendance.
The traditional wedding and white wedding held the same day (Saturday, January 4, 2014). The white wedding held at Guiding Light Assembly Church, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos. Reception was at Landmark Village, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Bez and Bolatito made their love affair public after getting engaged on May 1, 2013. Bolatito is the banker daughter of former Oyo state governor, Rasheed Ladoja. She is a graduate of International Relations from Warwick University in the United Kingdom. She also has Masters in Management from Imperial College, London.
Bez is a multi instrumentalist singer and song writer. He is known for his single, Stupid Song and album, Super Sun. He grew singing in choirs and playing his father’s guitar before starting singing at Open Mic Nights while at the university.
