Nick Hewer quit as Lord Sugar’s assistant on ‘The Apprentice’

Nick Hewer,70, has quit as Lord Sugar’s sidekick after a decade, and gave two reasons why he enjoyed being part of the wonderful television series, ‘The Apprentice’.

Hewer said because it’s been fun and most importantly, because he thinks ‘The Apprentice’ is truly a valuable programme, teaching young people the basics of business – not in a classroom setting, but in a wonderfully entertaining format.

Hewer who has worked with the businessman since 1983 along side West Ham vice-chairman, Karren Brady said it’s been 10 years of fun working on a worthwhile show but now it’s time to file the notebook and throttle back ‘Bye’.
