Nigerian Breweries unveils plan for journalists and bloggers

This year’s World Friendship Day celebrations in Nigeria, annually sponsored  by Nigerian Breweries through its “33” Export Larger beer brand, will not be for revellers alone.
Journalists and bloggers are also going to partake in the goodies that usually come with such fête.
Speaking at a press briefing in Lagos, the Marketing Director of Nigerian Breweries, Mr Frank Maria Maggi, said a competition tagged: #PENDOWNFRIENDSHIP# has been organized for journalists and bloggers who could write about their friendship memories in not less than 500 words and not more than 1000 words would win some prizes.
According to him,  their entries will be judged by a  panel of judges which includes, Mr Anthony Kan Onwordi, aka Toni Kan, Mrs Olabisi Deji – Folutile, the Editor, Saturday Punch and Mr. Pelu Awofeso.
He said the writers of the best 10 entries would get laptops and the top three would get training grant of N500,000, N300,000 and N200,000 respectively.
The submission of entries would run from July 11 to 27, 2018, while the winners would be announced and rewarded during the Lagos leg of the Friendship Day celebrations on August 3 and 4 ,2018.
