Nigerian football legend, Perpetua Nkwocha to tie the knot on Monday

Retired female football icon, Perpetua Nkwocha will on Monday, March 28, 2016 begin matrimony journey as she ties the nuptial knot with her beau, Ernest Ikechukwu Nwufor, NFF reports.

The ceremony is billed to hold at Our Lady Carmel Catholic Church, Emekuku, Owerri North LGA, Imo at 12noon; with the reception following immediately at the goal machine’s father’s compound in Amankwu Umuhu in Ngor-Okpala LGA, also in Imo.

The 40-year-old’s soon-to-be husband hails from the late Nze Dilibe Amachukwu Nwufoh family of Ifite, Nibo in Akwa South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Nkwocha holds the record for the most goals at the African Women Championship. She was voted African Women’s Footballer of the Year in 2004, 2005, 2010 and 2011 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF)
