Nigerians aghast as Ex Airforce Boss Returns Stolen N2.3bn

Nigerians welcomed revelations that the former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu (retd.), has returned to the Federal Government’s coffers, the sum of N2.3 billion from the funds allegedly stolen by his office as Chief of Air Staff.

This follows the princely $140,000 cash that the anti-graft agency recovered in his Badagry home. The EFCC had also seized houses belonging to him worth more than N500m.

Nigerians took to social media today to express both dismay and disapproval of the development.
