Nigerians hopeful as they reset agenda Buhari

The arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari from United Kingdom where he went on a 103 day medical trip has generated reactions from Nigerians.

While some are jubilating over the miraculous recovery of the President, some others are trading blames.

The media had gone agog when the news of President Buhari’s arrival broke.

ENCOMIUM Weekly spoke with Nigerians on their expectations on the arrival of the President. Below are their responses…

GOLD LIZZY

My expectations from our president is a better change.

MR MOSES

I expect him to do what he has to do for the betterment of the country because before he left he was having pending projects to accomplish, and now that he is around, he should embark on the projects for a better result for the nation.

OLAYIWOLA BIMBOLA

I expect him to work on the security aspect, electricity, agriculture and others.

ADEPOJU KAMALIDEEN

My only expectation from our government is to change Nigeria

to better as promised.

FALOLA KAYODE

I just want him to be more active than before.

UDOGU PETRA

He should just continue from where he stopped – from fighting corruption and security challenges. I also expect him to stop all the challenges rocking the Presidency of late and more finances should be released to

the economy. I also want him not to allow the Senate to scrap out the NYSC scheme.

ADEBAYO ADEMOLA

My expectations are so high. I expect him to tackle economic degradation, insecurity, he should revamp our economy, tackle unemployment, reshuffle the cabinet and so on. I expect alot from him now that he is back healthier.

AZEEZ SIRAJUDEEN

Buhari is not a saint and neither is he a magician, only Allah can solve our problems in Nigeria. I am not a politician neither do I belong to any political party, that is why I can not expect much from a politician. Even if Buhari has the intention of transforming this country, the other political officers surrounding him would not allow the good work come true. Let’s just hope for the best.

ADERINTO GANIYAT

He should continue from where he stopped. He should regulate the nation’s economy. Maybe he should just stop the corruption fight and face the market. There is famine in the land.

SHITTU GAFAR

I expect to see the good governance that Nigerians yawn for. I expect to see nothing less than good governance.

ORIOWO OMOLAYO

I expect to see intense and severe fight on corruption, I expect to see a working president. I assume he is fine now, so, I expect him to be active and stable now.

MUSA SAFURAT

I expect to see a more dedicated president working for the betterment of the generality of Nigerians. I expect to see a united Nigeria where people believe in one thing and have the same goal.
