Nigerians roast MI over comments on gay act

Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI, has received knocks over his social media comment about anti gay law a couple of  days back. The singer tweeted, “My thinking, I was born straight, I would never want to be punished for who I am because of this. I wouldn’t punish someone else for who they are.

“Cheating and adultery are wrong… but they are not criminalized.. and no form of consensual adult expression of love should be…my opinion.”

encomium.ng sampled opinions of Nigerians about his view on the anti gay act…

There is freedom of expression anyway but with his calibre, I don’t expect him to say such. He is a public figure and should be mindful of his posts on social media. I don’t care whatever might have warranted such comments.

Wisdom Chibuzo

I don’t expect such a comment from him. We need to find out why he is not yet married…

Let me just believe he didn’t post that himself. If he did, that would be one of the most foolish thoughts to express on the social media. Armed robbers were not born that way, they became perverted and became that way. Should we now support them for being foolish? He should go and sit down.

The bible is clear, it is against such act. The bible calls them people with reprobate minds.
