NJC wants attack on Ekiti judges investigated

The National Judicial Council (NJC) has condemned the attack on judicial officers and judges in Ekiti, and urged the Inspector General of Police to launch an investigation into the attacks.

This much was contained in a press statement issued by Mr Soji Oye, the NJC’s Acting Director of Information, yesterday (October 2) in Abuja.

It stated that the NJC made this known after an emergency meeting which was presided over by its Chairman, Justice Mariam Aloma-Mukhtar, the Chief Justice of Nigeria.
