Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is now a fugitive on the run as his association has been duly proscribed by a Federal High Court. The agitators of Biafra were declared by the court sitting on Wednesday, September 20, a terrorist group, after the federal government filed an exparte motion.

The European Court of human rights has tested the eligibility of British citizenship as it affects those accused of terrorism. And the court reaffirmed Theresa May’s policy of depriving terror suspects of citizenship in a major test case.
The policy of revoking terror suspects citizenship came into force when the Prime Minister was Home Secretary.
The European Court judges based in Strasbourg (in northern France) ruled that May “acted swiftly and diligently, and in accordance to the law” in the test case involving a Sudanese fugitive who had a British passport.
And figures available in June 2016 showed that about 33 prople lost their British citizenship to the policy.
