Nollywood stars storm Liz Da Silva’S Afrikulture 2016 unveiling

It was a moment of joy and excitement for popular thespian, Liz Da Silva, also known as Tasore So pe, as she unveiled the 5th edition of her A-list event, formerly tagged, Ankara Day, but now known as Afrikulture Entertainment and Award.

The unveiling which held at Beni Apartments, Victoria Island, Lagos, attracted many colleagues of the talented role interpreter, including Funsho Adeolu, Iyabo Ojo, Fathia Balogun, Dayo Amusa, Bimbo Thomas, Ronke Odusanya, Femi Branch, Ireti Osayemi and others. Also at the occasion was famous comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka (CFR).

Speaking excitedly on the event, Da Silva reiterated her commitment to showcasing African culture in a unique way even beyond the continent of Africa.

“I am so happy seeing a lot of my colleagues around me today showing support for Afrikulture 2016.

Celebration of African culture is something I passionately believe in, and that’s why I keep forging ahead with the initiative.

“This year’s edition was Tuesday, December 27, 2016 and it was very fantastic. This is because some notable Nigerians and organisations went home with special awards for their immense contributions to the growth and development of African culture.”
