Ogun State Government to host the South West Governors’ Forum

The Ogun State Government will host the meeting of the South West Governors’ Forum on Monday, April 24, 2017.

Venue of the meeting, scheduled to start at 11am, is the Government House, Oke-Igbein, Abeokuta, the state capital.

The meeting is to further evaluate the key areas of cooperation that will foster unity and progress towards the development of the region.

It will also explore areas of collaboration that would engender good governance.

Some of the thematic areas to be discussed  are :

1)Export development initiatives for the Western region

2) Security, in view of the current contemporary unwholesome activities of some criminal elements parading themselves as militants now ravaging parts of the region.
