Oil minister, Alison Madueke’s kidnapped sister freed

Mrs Osiyo Agama, the kidnapped sister of the Minister of Petroleum Resources (Diezani Alison-Madueke), has been freed, police confirmed yesterday (Wednesday, October 29).
 
Confirming the rescue, Rivers state police spokesman, DSP Ahmad Muhammad said: “Osiyo Agama has been safely rescued during a joint operation by the police, military and SSS (State Security Service)”.
 
Muhammad added that two suspects had been arrested over the October 21 abduction in Port Harcourt (Rivers State).
