OOU students demand justice for 13 killed colleagues (3): ‘He was a very nice person’ -Akanni Kayide, late Dairo Olatunji’s friend

When was your last encounter with the victim?

The last time I saw him was Thursday evening. We contributed the electric bill that day. He actually advised me on my education and he tried inspiring me with his words.

Did you notice anything before his death?

No! I didn’t notice anything.

How can you describe Tunji?

He was a very nice person. When one had any problem, he handled it like he was encountering the problem. He was my school father, and he impacted my life positively in many ways.

What will you miss about him?

I’m already missing lots about him. I will miss his advice, the chat, the way we discussed and had fun. I will miss the times he took me out to eat and the times we trekked together to buy fuel. I’m really missing TJ.
