Not taking into account wealthy people whose companies are not listed and those with stolen money, there are only three dollar billionaires in Nigeria today ( Thursday, May 18, 2017.

1. Alhaji Aliko Dangote, 60, $11.9 billion
2. Dr. Michael Adenuga, Jnr. , 64, $5.9 billion
3. Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, 66, $1.7 billion
But in the best of time, Nigeria paraded five on the prestigious rich list with an astounding net worth.
At a time, Alhaji Aliko Dangote was worth $25 billion; Dr. Michael Adenuga, Jnr, $11.4 billion; Mr. Femi Otedola, $1.9 billion ; Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, $2.5 billion and Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, $1.2 billion.
