In 2009, a sex scandal reported in Christ Embassy was in Benin City, Edo state which involved Pastor Ebele
Uzodike from Port Harcourt who sexually molested his relative’s wife. The lid was blown when the Pastor’s relative and husband to the lady arrived from the United States of America based on information from the church members. The lady was confronted and she confessed all the ungodly and evil deeds by the Pastor.
A divorce was promptly filed based on confessions by both the Pastor and his lover. The pastor was at the time engaged to another church member, Miss Joy Ndefo.
It was ascertained that several women in that Benin City Parish had suffered the same fate under this Pastor, but were terrified that no one would believe them until this case blew open. Many have since come forward with their horror stories about the Pastor who leads a double life. Christ Embassy Overseer in Benin-City and Enugu where these scandal were hatched declined any comments to our reporter, and referred us to the Lagos Head office to lodge a complaint. The pastor is said to come from a good Christian background in Nnewi area of Anambra state. Our reporter continues to follow the scandal and the ongoing divorce case at the Benin City High Court of Justice of Edo state.
