Oyebade can be tried alone in the Matharoos’ extortion and cyber bulling case

Babatunde Oyebade, the 43 year old listed accomplice of Jyoti (32) and Kiran Matharoo (30) in the cyber bullying and extortion case may face a lone trial if the Canadian escorts who scandalised Nigeria with its biggest sex mess yet fail to show up.

If the Police decide to diligently prosecute the case, a lonely trial is a possibility.  And if Oyebade believes he has a strong case, he can press for a trial separately.

In many criminal cases, once the other co-accused are frustrating the matter from going on unhindered, an accused can opt to face trial alone for quick dispensation of justice!
