Police release video showing moment officer shoots boy with fake gun

Police in Cleveland, Ohio (USA) have released audio and CCTV footage showing the moment an officer shot a 12-year-old boy who was carrying what turned out to be a toy gun dead.

Tamir Rice died a day after he was shot (on November 22) by police who responded to distress calls about someone with a gun at a playground.

The footage shows a police cruiser pulling up next to Tamir, and within seconds of the officers exiting the vehicle one of them opens fire on the boy.
