Police storm Cliff Richard’s home, search apartment in relation to alleged sexual offence

British police has today (August 14) stormed the Berkshire home of Sir Cliff Richard as part of an investigation regarding an alleged historical sex offence.
 
A police spokesperson has stated that the allegation dates back to the 1980s involving a boy under 16,  in South Yorkshire. 
 
However, the pop star was not arrested as he was not present at the property.
