Pope Francis lunch date with homeless people today 

Argentine born pontiff, Pope Francis (78), who is on a 6-day visit to the United States of America, has organized a lunch date with the homeless community in the country’s capital, Washington today (Thursday, September 24).

Though earlier scheduled to dine with politicians, the Roman Catholic head chose to share lunch with 300 less privileged people.

The Pope’s visit coincides with the United Nations’ summit.
