‘He’s confused’, he says
Popular seer and General Overseer of Mountain of Miracles and Blessings, Prophet Olagunroye Faleyimu has joined other Christians in firing founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracle (MFM), Dr Daniel Olukoya for condemning Christmas celebration. He described the famous clergy as a ‘confutionist’ whose comment is capable of misleading others.
According to Faleyimu, “How can any Christian say that celebration of Christmas is a taboo? In what way is it demonic as Olukoya claimed? That means he is not a true follower of Christ . There’s nothing wrong in celebrating Christmas. That’s how it has been since the advent of our colonial masters who brought Christianity. People like Olukoya are international businessmen claiming to be men of God. Anyway, God Himself has said that He knows those that call Him genuinely. The same thing was what Dr Kumuyi said few years ago. No matter what they say, people will continue to celebrate Christmas because it’s Jesus Christ’s birthday.
“I can’t really be surprised. The same people are those condemning Muslim festival of sacrifice, Eid-el-Kabir, calling it idolatory festival. I think they’re confused, and they’re only looking for who to mislead. They can’t mislead people like us. I believe Odukoya might have spoken from the flesh, not the spirit because if he was of the spirit when he made the statement, he wouldn’t have said that at all.”
