Pregnant Tiwa Savage emerges queen of collabo

-appears in more than 7 songs in 2 months

tiw pregnantDespite the fact that multiple award-winning singer, Tiwa Savage-Balogun is undergoing her nine months course at the moment, ENCOMIUM Weekly’s investigations revealed that the Isale-Eko, Lagos born musician has re-doubled her effort and subsequently emerged the female singer with the highest number of collaborations in 2014, which she’s maintained till date!

This astounding performance has shocked many within and outside the industry, who might have scaled her down due to her present condition as she’s carrying Tee-Billz’s child.

The Mavin First Lady and her husband, Tee-Billz had on January 1, 2015, posted on Twitter a slightly protruding belly of the singer with a white pair of cute baby booties, with a caption, “2015: Just the 3 of US. #AllGloryToGod”. The post showed that in a matter of months, the celebrated couple would welcome their first child.

Ahead of all the symptoms of early pregnancy stage, the Kele Kele Love crooner has recorded several songs including collaborations with established artistes home and abroad.

BRACKET AND TIWA SAVAGE IN ALIVE

In the beginning of the year (2015), Tiwa Savage appeared in the duo of Bracket’s hit song, Alive, alongside Tanzanian born singer, Diamond. Her presence in the video made the song one of the hottest right now, as it’s enjoying massive airplay on radio and television. She nailed the song with her vivacious voice.

SEAN TIZZLE FEATURED TIWA SAVAGE IN IGI OROMBO

Many people fell in love with Igi Orombo, one of the hit songs from Sean Tizzle’s first album, The Journey, the first day it was released, because of Tiwa Savage’s vocal prowess. Although, the video didn’t meet up to expectation, Tiwa Savage’s urgent intervention rescued the song from being rejected. Released in December 2014, Igi Orombo (Orange tree) is a popular Yoruba folk love song.

SID’S FIRST COLLABO WITH TIWA SAVAGE IN OYARI

Oyari is one of the tracks in Mavin act’s album, Seduction featuring another Mavin singer, Tiwa Savage. Amazingly, this was the first official collaboration of the two leading acts in Mavin, Nigeria’s most vibrant record label, and they didn’t disappoint. The visual to the song was released in December 2014.

TIWA SAVAGE, DAVIDO, SARKODIE, OTHERS IN AFRICA ARISING

Earlier, in November 2014, the Mavin First Lady also teamed up with fellow compatriot, Davido and other African acts such as Sarkodie (Ghana), Diamond (Tanzania) and Mi Casa in Africa Arising, a song meant to inspire Africans to involve in community based social upliftment projects. Pundits that heard the song, which also had Lola Rae, Myztikal rated Tiwa Savage’s vocal delivery very high.

PASUMA FEATURES TIWA SAVAGE IN IFE

In the same month, Fuji music veteran, Pasuma Wonder released the much anticipated visual to his love song, Ife and the choice of Tiwa Savage was perfectly okay. Interestingly, two months after, it’s still many people’s favourite and the reason is not far-fetched. Paso’s vocal was on point, but Tiwa Savage’s presence added value Ife directed by wave making music video director, Unlimited LA.

PRESH COLLABO WITH TIWA SAVAGE IN I NO DEY LIE

When Presh of Eric Manny Entertainment wanted a collabo for his song, I No Dey Lie, he needed a female act that would bring out the melody of the song. The former member of the defunct KC Presh made a right choice by featuring Mavins First Lady, Tiwa Savage in the song. Love for the song soared when the visual was released in November 2014.
