The President salutes the many decades committed to scholarship by the don, who made a First Class from the University of Ibadan in 1980, and went ahead to distinguish himself in post-graduate studies at the University of London.
The specialist in Middle Eastern Studies has been a visiting professor at Oxford, Cambridge, Texas at Austin, Bayreuth-Germany Universities, among others, a fact President Buhari believes should inspire the younger generation to excel at their callings and professions.
The President rejoices with the academia, the Sanni family, their friends and associates, and wishes the Vice Chancellor longer life in good health.
