The life changing programme held at the church headquarters at Oke-Afa, Ejigbo, Lagos, drew worshippers and dignitaries from within and outside the vicinity.

“It’s a day of joy and celebration in the lives of the beneficiaries of Primate Ayodele’s largesse at this year’s INRI Family Thanksgiving Day. They were all happy and excited as they smiled home with gifts and cash.

“One of them, Pastor Gbadamosi got a car gift, a Mitsubishi worth N1m and N100,000 cash.  I think he was the luckiest at the event.  A lot of other members of the church were given land at the church’s site in Ikorodu, Lagos.  Many also got free accommodation, a two-room self contain at the rate of N1,000 per month as rent.  Equally, some students in the ministry were awarded scholarship while the man of God also paid WASCE fees of about four students.

“And as usual, he also gave out free Hajj and Jerusalem tickets for 2016 pilgrimage to the two holy lands.

“In fact, it was an atmosphere of joy and excitement for all the attendees of the event, especially those whose lives were touched directly by Primate Ayodele’s kind and philanthropic gesture.  I am happy for them.”

One of the beneficiaries who got a plot of land, Abosede Bisiriyu said, “My heart is full of joy, and I thank the Lord that I am among the people that daddy could appreciate.  Though it didn’t come as a surprise to me, I know what he can do and he has even done more than this for me.

“Daddy started grooming me since 1996, till date.  With that alone, I believe you will agree with me that he has done wonderfully in my life.  There is nothing I can do to pay him for all he has done for me.  What I can only do is pray for him to continue.  And I pray that the Lord Almighty will continue to bless him, and all he lays his hands upon shall be successful in Jesus name.  Then, in the last day when the trumpet shall sound, we will all meet with the Lord in Jesus name, Amen.”

An amputee, Mr. Obasheki Segun also lauded the clergy for restoring his hope by giving him some cash to fix his leg.  “I thank God because I felt all hope was lost.  I thought my life has come to an end when the incident happened but when I came to INRI and I met Primate, he gave me accommodation.  I have not been happy since my leg was amputated but now, I am beginning to be happy because of what Primate has done for me.  I don’t know how to thank him but Almighty God will thank him on my behalf.  God will continue to bless him and his ministry.”

Also, Modinat Anjorin, who was thrice lucky at the thanksgiving ceremony by getting half plot of land, free housing and a trip to Jerusalem in 2016 reacted, “What Primate did for me really surprised me because I have never dreamt of having a piece of land let alone travelling abroad but Primate has made everything possible.  I am so happy, and I pray God will continue to uplift him.”

In his comment, Kabiyesi Owuro Lawa, who also got a cheque of N250,000 as support fund for his radio programme said he was surprised being counted inclusive among those who benefitted from the clergy’s support fund for this year and prayed God will continue to bless him abundantly.

“It’s true I got a cheque of N250,000 to support my radio programme, Aye ninu Aye, in which we will be featuring the church for 10 minutes every week.  But the fact that he called my name and gave me the cheque was a surprise.  I didn’t expect it that day.  It’s a payment that will help us a lot in the programme. I thank Primate for the support.  God will continue to bless him abundantly.”

Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Saturday, October 10, 2015, Primate Ayodele expressed gratitude to God for enabling him fulfill his calling.  He added he wished he could do better next year.

“I give glory to God for giving me the opportunity to touch the lives of the people around me in my little way.  That’s another form of miracle we believe in at INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.  We believe in empowerment not only prayer.  And that’s what distinguished us from other white garment churches.

“I believe I am only fulfilling my calling.  I wish I could do more and better next year.”
