PRIMATE AYODELE REACTS TO CRITICISMS TRAILING HIS PROPHECIES ON D’BANJ AND DAVIDO: ‘I owe nobody no apology’

Spiritual head and founder, INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church of God, Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele has reacted to criticisms trailing his predictions on two of Nigeria’s famous hip hop acts, Dapo Oyebanji, better known as D’Banj and Omo Baba Olowo crooner, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, adding that the prophecies were not meant to cause any apprehension.

Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Saturday, March 29, 2014, the humble clergy expressed dismay about people’s perception of God’s revelations. He added that those embarking on unnecessary criticisms are ignorant of what forecast is all about in the life of man.

“Those criticizing what I said about D’Banj and Davido have no knowledge of what prediction means. I have said what God directed me to tell them. It’s left to them. Prophecies are not meant to cause panic in those affected but to avert calamities.

“As a prophet, I must say exactly what God has sent me to say so that they can pray over it. I owe nobody no apology for delivering the message of God.”

The popular seer said a few days ago via a social media network, that D’Banj should be very careful so that he won’t be swindled in a foreign business deal. He also warned that Davido should beef up security around him to avoid being kidnapped. These have been

generating reactions, especially from music lovers. But according to Primate Ayodele, the messages are in line with God’s directives.

Probed on his comment on the controversies surrounding the Malaysian plane that disappeared, he maintained, “I have said it that I didn’t see the plane in any Indian Ocean, and I have not seen it there. The government of Malaysian needs to be queried. The issue is political.

“Definitely, there is more to it than what people are being told by the government. I believe if the passengers’ families put more pressure on Malaysian government, more secrets and facts will emerge about the plane and the passengers.

“I have no reason to cause any controversy, that’s exactly what God has shown me. Remember, I predicted the removal of Bamanga Tukur, the sack of service chiefs, crisis in Central Bank and much more. I am still saying it, I have not seen the Malaysian plane in any ocean. People should join the families of the victims in putting pressure on the government of the country so that the truth will be known.”
