Princess Diana’s gowns set for auction in Beverly Hills

A range of precious gowns belonging to the late Princess of Wales, Diana, are set to go up for auction in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles (USA), with each piece going for up to $100,000.

Several of the People’s Princess’ most-coveted personal clothing will be open to bids, including the Catherine Walker-designed petal pink double gown she wore to the re-opening of the Savoy Theatre and the striking emerald green dress she wore to a banquet at The Dorchester Hotel in 1993, among other items.

The fashion icon died on August 31, 1997 following a car crash in Paris, France.
