This unpopular trend, if not checked, may cause the teeming populace to lose confidence in certain individuals and may result in voters apathy.
In this week’s episode of the Glo-sponsored sitcom, Professor Johnbull, this cunning behavior by unscrupulous politicians is ridiculed.
Titled ‘Campaign Promises’, the episode which will air on Tuesday on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes at 8:30p.m. critically x-rays certain ideologies such as ethnicity, political manifesto, acrimony, and campaign funding.

The exclusive sponsor, Globacom, in a statement issued in Lagos on Monday encouraged viewers to tune in to the programme as it promises to be entertaining and educative.
