Rabiu overtakes Alakija on world’s wealthiest list

The 2019 edition of Forbes rich list released today (Tuesday, March 5, 2019) saw Abdusamad Rabiu overtake Folorunsho Alakija with about $500 million.The 58-year-old cement and sugar tycoon perched at number 1,425 on the list with $1.6 billion, while Famfa Oil’s Alakija, 68, at number 1,941, recorded net worth of $1.1 billion.
