Ralph Lauren quits as label boss, Stefan Larsson to take over

Ralph Lifshitz (75), owner of top fashion brand, Ralph Lauren is set to quit as the label boss.

Stefan Larsson is the man to take charge as Ralph Lauren new label boss. Stefan (50),  who is Swedish, is the head of Gap’s Old Navy division.

In a statement by Ralph, he said: “I am here, and I am not leaving. Stefan is coming to the company because I really believe he’s going to be an interesting addition. He understands what dreams are.”

The Ralph Lauren brand was created in 1967, before changing its logo to the emblem of a polo player in 1972.
