Beautiful movie producer, Liz Anjorin is currently sweating it out on the set of series of movies in Lagos. The award winning actress started the shooting of six new projects last weekend, and production of all six are on as at the time of filing this report.
According to the actress, the shooting which started on Sunday will last almost a month.
“The situation we have here is that, the cast are working on six projects. We just discovered that most of the people we have here fit into our philosophy of indepth acting skills and core professionalism. So, we are retaining some of them for continuity and we are equally bringing in others who have one or two scenes to shoot. But, the core of our cast and crew are camped here on the Island. It’s a massive project but this is the standard I have set for myself. We invested heavily on equipment and the production cost is sky rocketing every day. I just believe Insha Allah, we are up to the task”.
Currently working with Liz on the projects are Yinka Quadri, Madam Saje, Yomi Gold, Saidi Balogun, Remi Surutu, among others. The movies in the making are: Beta Pikin, Obinrin lo l’omo,’Obadan, Ajiroba, Iyawo Olele and Semiratu.
Young director, Lukmon Adeniji is calling the shots, while Sesan Alabi works as the production manager. The producer, Liz Anjorin also doubles as the assistant director. Shooting, according to the Production Manager, Sesan Alabi will move to Ijebu Ode, Ogun state this weekend as they plan to round off in the coming days.
Liz’s last effort, Kofo the first Lady is billed for release before December 2014.
