After two weeks of drama which saw former governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi’s (50) screening by the Senate postponed twice, he has finally confirmed a minister this afternoon (Thursday, October 29, 2015).
His confirmation was, however, laced with complaints from PDP senators.
The PDP senators walked out from the Senate Chambers. They insisted that Mr. Amaechi shouldn’t be confirmed because he has a case in court.
