Where do you live in Lagos and why?

I live in Onike, Yaba. It’s a good house, very spacious and it’s alright.

When did you start leaving permanently in Lagos?

I started living in Lagos permanently in 1998.

What’s your earliest Lagos experience?

I guess just coming down to Lagos. The whole hustle and bustle are very different from the East and all that.

What do you like most about Lagos?

The life. Lagos is what New York is to America. Lagos is fast-paced. Everybody is moving. If you are too slow, you are too dumb, somebody will use your head, let’s put it that way. You have to be sharp, that’s what I like most about Lagos.

What do you hate most about Lagos?

The potholes, the traffic, the light and the people that wear the uniform and extort money unlawfully.

What do you miss most when you are outside Lagos?

The life. The familiar landmark.

How do you move around Lagos?

I drive my BMW 3 Series.

What’s your Lagos favourite hangout, club or pub?

I take Do It All and 11:45.

Apart from Lagos what other city are you attached to?

I think Lagos is my normal life. Wherever I go and I spend two, three days, I’m already missing Lagos.

Where do you shop in Lagos?

I get a lot of stuff from abroad but in Lagos, I think the Bullanz. I have my own clothesline. I wear most times Ruggedman shirts, my own stuff.

Who is our favourite celebrity?

All the good ones. I can’t pinpoint.

What are your hobbies?

Music, and I’m a play station freak.

What new projects are you working on?

My collaboration album with Faze. We have a single out now and we will shoot the video very soon. I’m working on my clothing line. 20 September Wears by Ruggedman where you will have your T-Shirt, G-Strings and all that. Then the official Ruggedman fan Club.
