This Day Style Editor, Ruth Osime assembled scores of Lagos’ glamour set on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Red Carpet Hall, Oniru, Lagos, when she celebrated her 50th birthday.
The invitation even attracted some big wigs in the Niger Delta. The governors of Rivers (Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi in Louis Vuitton’s colourful tuxedo) and Delta (Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan dapper in dark suit) joined Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN (of Lagos decked in dark wool kaftan). Liyel Imoke’s better half,Obioma (in flaming red number), and Dame Abimbola Fashola led a bevy of glamozons.
Madam Osime, her mother, was in the house; so were her daughters.
Friends, very close friends, made the evening glorious and enjoyable.
