CONTRARY to the report on social media network, star actor, Saidi Balogun, a.k.a James Bond, has denied walking down the aisle with Oba Elegusi’s sister, Funke Sofowora, adding that it’s a figment of people’s imagination.
He further described the story as misleading.
Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Monday, July 17, 2013, the handsome film maker expressed total dismay about the report, labeling those sponsoring it as confusionists, who are only trying. “The picture they are misinterpreting is just one of the several pictures I had used to appreciate those who contributed in one way or the other to the success of my new movie, You or I. I have posted Governor Aregbesola’s picture, Yinka Ayefele’s. Also, that of Wale of Bite Water, nobody said anything. Now that it’s a lady’s picture, they are insinuating rubbish.”
“It’s all about my new movie, which I am premiering on Sunday, July 17, 2013. And nothing more. People should just leave me alone on any issue concerning my private life,” he concluded distract the attention of the public from his movie premiere, slated for the speculated date.
“It’s rubbish. Those behind the story are evils working against the success of You or I. I don’t even expect you to be asking this kind of question. Adverts are all over the place that I am premiering a movie that same day. So, how can I be that foolish to fix July 7 for my wedding? It’s only a coward that does that, I can’t hide anything from you in particular. It’s just a mere distraction. People are sponsoring the rumour because they don’t want the premiere to be successful.”
