A schoolboy who gunned down dead his girlfriend moments after she gave him a present for his birthday has been found guilty of manslaughter.
The 15-year-old – who cannot be named for legal reasons – claimed that the imitation Beretta pistol went off accidentally as he showed it to his girlfriend, Shereka Fab-Ann Marsh in Hackney, London.
Following a trial at the Old Bailey, a jury cleared him of murder but found him guilty of manslaughter.
