Excerpts…

How would you describe the impact of the media in sustaining the present democracy?

Segun Osoba
Segun Osoba

It has been great, massive and highly impressive.  The modern media is keeping the tradition of our forefathers in the profession, who fought the colonialists with their pen and today, the media is fighting the new colonialists within us who still want to trample on our collective heritage. I am very happy, it is a good development.

With the recent transformation of Action Congress (AC) to Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), what are the possibilities of the party winning 2011 presidential election?

By the grace of God, we shall do it.  We are meeting night and day to ensure that the cabals that have eaten all the resources of the country are removed from office.  All the resources we have ever had since independent combined is not up to what People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has made in the past ten years and yet not a single road in Nigeria is motorable. Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Benin-Sagamu are not motorable.  In fact, Abuja to Lokoja is a death trap and there is no road that is safe, which was why there are cases of accidents here and there.  So, we need to kick PDP out.  Enough of what they have stolen.

What about Atiku Abubakar’s defection to PDP, any effect on ACN?

Atiku Abubakar left AC for PDP and not ACN, his exit will have no single impact on the party.

Senator Ibikunle Amosu has recently defected to Action Congress of Nigeria in Ogun State, what are the chances of the party winning the governorship election?

It’s not only Senator Amosu that will join the party, many more people will join ACN in Ogun State.  When the imposture which is going on in PDP becomes exposure then, we are going to re-enact the Social Democratic Party (SDP), which was the original party of the progressive in Ogun State, we shall be back in power.

What do you think is wrong with Governor Gbenga Daniel’s administration in Ogun State?
