Senator Obadara orders search of journalists over missing China phone

The chairman, Senate Committee on Privatization, Senator Gbenga Obadara Wednesday (October 22, 2014) ordered journalists to be searched over his missing China phone in Kano after an interactive session.
Senator Obadara and some members of his committee was in Kano in one of the oversight functions at the headquarters of Kano Electrical Distribution Company located at Post office road.
Immediately after the session with over 30 journalists, he told the management of the Power firm that his phone was missing, leading to the request that all journalists present submit themselves for search.
Heavily armed policemen were subsequently drafted inside the conference hall for the search operations on the embarrassed Journalists, but the process was halted when the Senator indicated from outside the hall that he had seen his phone.
