Shade Okoya, young wife of billionaire mogul (Alhaji Rasaq Akanni Okoya) has laid to rest tales that she’s ill!
The svelte and fashionable woman didn’t look an inch like someone battling a strange ailment or just getting up from a sick bed.
At the wedding reception of Adewunmi Olatilo and Ayotunde Funsho (on Saturday, October 5, 2013,in Oregun,Ikeja,Lagos), Mrs. Okoya was as excited as she was playful. Slim and lithe, gorgeous and dazzling in the silver and red colours of the day, she gingerly stepped out of the cream vehicle which ferried her, Alhaji Okoya and their long time friend (Chief Gbenga Obasa).
Adjusting her husband’s agbada, she stuck by him all through the wedding reception attended by some of Nigeria’s most colourful socialites. And as she stepped in, she exchanged pleasantries with many of Lagos’ high society, hugged and blew kisses in the air. At every photo opportunity, she stood erect and smiling, holding on tight to her husband.
Many times, she playfully caressed Alhaji Okoya’s face.
Absent from high society events for many months, rumour went virile that she was ill. But the young woman who has four children for the mogul is apparently hale and healthy as these pictures (by Godwin Onyemaechi) depict.
