SULTRY actress of the Yoruba genre, Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo has rubbished the claim that her romance with fuji artist, Sule Alao Malaika has packed up. Adding that those behind the tale are only looking for her downfall.
Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Thursday, April 19, 2012, the actress expressed dismay over the tale. She described it as uncalled for labeling those behind it as idle rumour mongers.
“We are still dating and still very much in love. Three people celebrated their birthdays during the period he was in Dubai and I had to attend. Moreover, I had a movie I was working on, so I was also on location. It was really stressful and as a result, I couldn’t meet up with the Dubai trip. Our relationship is still intact and we love each other very much. Thank you,” she rounded off.
However, the rumour mill was agog a couple of weeks back, alleging that the duo’s romance had packed up like badly arranged cards. It was also alleged that Sikiratu didn’t travel with her heartthrob for his March 2012 birthday bash in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We were told Sindodo was not even carried along in the preparation for the party because things were said to have fallen apart between them.
We also gathered that the two who used to be an item no longer attends events together. Malaika was sighted alone recently at an event held in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
It was further said that the attention, love and gifts Malaika usually showered on the role interpreter had been withdrawn. Mutual friends and close colleagues of the duo were said to have been amazed when they heard about the love turned sour tale. A lot of Sikiratu’s friends are worried about the Romeo and Juliet relationship that is said to be epileptic because Sikiratu staged a surprise birthday bash for the talented entertainer sometime in February before he decided to replicate it in Dubai.
ENCOMIUM Weekly learnt that Malaika took some other actors along with him to Dubai but deliberately left his heartthrob, Sikiratu Sindodo behind.
However, the actress has denied the tale, saying she is still neck deep in love with Sule Alao Malaika. ENCOMIUM Weekly also called Sule Alao Malaika to get his side of the story but we couldn’t get his response as at press time.
