Sir Tony Ezenna surpasses all benchmarks of elegance and finesse at daughter’s October 11 wedding

ALL the benchmarks of elegance and finesse were effortlessly scaled on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at the wedding of Orange Drugs’ Sir Tony Ezenna’s daughter, Uchenna Cynthia and Chukueku Elurihuka Gboneme…

The spectacular wedding, which reportedly gulped about N120 million, paraded all the elements of class and style, from the church (Our Lady of Perpetual Help) to the reception (Grand Ballroom of Oriental Hotel, both in Victoria Island, Lagos).

From the assemblage of billionaires to professionals, entrepreneurs to socialites, and the mixture of all the ingredients that amplify a ceremony to a high-octane shindig, everything was in abundance without any semblance of jamboree for the 1,500 guests.

Scores and scores of high networth moguls and professionals marched in.  From Chief Emma Bishop Okonkwo, Chief Chidi Anyaegbu, Dr. Cosmas Maduka to Mr. Jim Ovia and Mr. Phillips Oduoza.

With a black tie dress code and the aso ebi in colours of the rainbow, the church and the reception shimmered and glittered.

Once Upon a Destination, the events planner, was on point with décor, performers, food and drinks and more.

The string quartet which entertained at the foyer of the Grand Ballroom elevated the party.  With classical pieces of popular hits, their violins and viola registered high marks.

And while waiting for the wedding party from church, the foyer sizzled and rocked.  With conversations in low tones, canapés and cocktails and drinks, the atmosphere razzle dazzled.

In the Grand Ballroom, Sharp Band held their grounds.  From highlife to jazz, hip-hop to soul and many popular contemporary hits, they scored A*.

And with P-Square, performing all their hits to the delight of the younger guests, the party nestled well at the peak.

Food and drinks flowed throughout the duration of the ceremony (till almost 12 a.m).
