Smoking marijuana lowers your IQ

New study claim young teenagers who try marijuana have lover IQ. It also shows that they are at risk of developing brain dysfunction, depression and bipoloar disorder.  Scientists at Western University, Canada, observed that the younger the brain, the weaker it is as it grows and strengthens.

The study shows that smoking weed have a destructive effect on the development process. The younger they start using marijuana, the worse their impairment gets.

Even despite claims by pro-legalization groups that there’s a key benefit to weed, it did nothing to lessen depression in teenagers. In some cases, depression becomes worse.

According to lead author of exploring marijuana, Dr. Elizabeth Osuch, “These findings suggest that using marijuana does not correct the brain abnormalities or symptoms of depression and using it from an early age may have an abnormal effect not only on brain function, but also on IQ,”

In further research, they discovered that young people who smoked marijuana from an early age had a higher proportion of a certain genetic variation of a brain development gene.
